Hi Mark
Thank you for your nice mail. You're right this list is mostly used for
handling RFC's and change announcements like the core list but your mail
with offer to help is also very welcome, of course.
I'm always happy to hear from people who also uses workspaces in their
productive websites as it is a great feature.
As we are still a small group of active members in the team new people
are always welcome to help.
You did a god start by creating issues on forge and testing the current
development status.
It would be great if you would checkout the svn repository trunk [1] of
the workspaces extension and test RFCs from this list or create patches
for issues from forge and put them as RFC to this list. That would help
us very much on our way to TYPO3 4.5 final.
So, let's start and make workspaces even better.
Thank you and kind regards,
Sonja

I've been watching with interest because this feature is important in my world where we hope to encourage non-technical volunteers to contribute news items and the like on an occasional basis. Workspaces and Versioning provide an essential "safety net" to help make such encouragement possible.

As a result of my experience I have raised my voice in the Workspaces and Versioning Issues department on the TYPO3 Forge site . I've tried to follow the social conventions I've observed, but I'm sure I still have a lot to learn. If I can be helpful in any way I hope you will not hesitate to contact me.
