First, congratulation for the new baby !
Nothing and no money will ever beat that. (even TYPO3 version 7 !)

Now, for the articles, you should see with Yeebase/T3N Magazin people 
since they offered some english articles. Don't remember where I saw 
this but if I recall they where ok to give away some older articles.

You also have the wiki that could be use to provide some others as well.
