hello.

how about dedicating a single machine to the mailarchive? at the moment 
typo3.org is on the machines that are loadbalanced via dns. some days 
ago the cache-control header have been added to the setup.

question: is there allready a proxy in front of the machines? if so we 
could mask /mailinglist to the separate host...
