[TYPO3-hci] Consistency between programs

Hi there,

in my opinion one of the major problems with software is consistency of
concepts. If you work with one program for quite some time and it uses a
shortcut for making text bold for example you get used to this. If you
use another program later and you find out that this does not work any
more you need to learn a new concept. Perhaps clicking a button. And way
back in time there were wordprocessors which needed you to type
something around your text to make it bold (like in HTML).

So one of our goals should be to analyse our TYPO3 in terms of
consistency compared to other programs in concepts. My favorite Example
(until 4.0) was the gremlin that you couldn't create a backend user in
the "user admin" section. Everyone looked there first, because you
learned this concept from other software!

So let's start to list such inconsistencies here.

Søren
