i think one reason is that all developers earn their mony developing
solutions for their clients. There you have a small time budget and
sometimes not the chance to give your work to TER.
I try to find a balance, e.g. instead of creating new extensions i joined
cal to help there.
But anyway you're right - I miss all the gurus in the newsgroups helping
others understanding the core. Or supporting dev-teams.
But this is a human issue as well ...
anyway i try my best to support the community.
