Franz, just out of curiosity: Why should people wait for 5.0 at all, 
unless someone triggers their interest with roadmaps and marketing buzz? 
4.0 is the best TYPO3 release ever, and with 4.1ff. even less buggy and 
more stable.
No single feature of 5.0 has been announced yet, why should anyone look 
forward to it except the devs?

Concerning the PHP4/5 issue: what's the point of 100% PHP5?  Even with 
1% PHP5-only code you cannot run on PHP4 platforms, so the cut is there 
from the first line of code, unless you write backwards-compat glue code.
