[TYPO3-core] Git tag format changed?

Already thought so and I welcome the new, shorter format. :-)

Does this also mean the branch for 6.2 will be named "6.2.x" or "6.2"?

I'll wait for that one then. Let us know if/when the old tag format is planned to be dropped.
