We've had some major discussions about the first patch in a (to be
expected) series of fixes to refactor TCA/ext_tables.php handling.
Thanks to Lollis explanations things got clearer and we can expect to
have the lost performance back in the end.

The disussion was closely followed by a thread about our whole review
process that doesn't seem finished yet. Tobi already mentioned several
request regarding this topic in his report three weeks ago. So please
don't miss the topic: we're in need of some good ideas and concepts to
improve here!
