[TYPO3-core] Thinking about a lightweight backend - what do you think?

IMO no but then just *everything* has to be done again.

I know, but problem is the "less features" ... question is really: is
there a manpower who really wants to build all this again after all.

I am not sure about that to be honest.

No matter which direction is the better we also need to focus on a still
realistic solution. Wouldn't e.g. be it better to streamline the API,
e.g. having a full REST which *then* can be used by everbody? Or an
improved tceforms which can be used by you again?
