hm - indeed then the module is displayed when i add this line - i didn't 
had it before the patch?

what makes me wonder that the module is added twice (also before) as the 
other call to module is top.goToModule('user_ws') (top toolbar, 
workspace menu), that's why i added
t3lib_extMgm::addModule('user', 'ws', '', 
t3lib_extMgm::extPath($_EXTKEY) . 'ws/');
	
anyway with both lines it works for me also from tools>workspaces
