[TYPO3-core] RFC #13118: Toggle empty tree produces JS error

Hi,

it would be helpful to give an advice how to reproduce.

Indeed, with a pagetree you never are covered by this bug. But if you 
start a fresh installation you only have a globe with +/- icon and empty 
childs. There this error happens.

+1 by reading and testing. As it's a real nobrainer i will commit this 
patch in 48 hours if noone complains.
