[TYPO3-core] RFC #13118: Toggle empty tree produces JS error

Hi,

i use this thread as it's solved, but i like to add something.

I don't know what the state is of ux rewrite of pagetree, but we really 
need one. The html markup is broken in special situations, and i gave up 
fixing this, as the markup is built manually at several points, so it's 
bery hard to know how many cilds, are they closed etc. Horrable!!!

tree.js also is horrable to maintain, the selects of prototype are ...

Also we need the search. Remember the discussions when we integrated the 
js search - most said: unusable. So make it usable with a correct markup 
or ExtJS driven (i suggest the later because we are always sure that 
markup is correct, all to do is to build correct arrays, which is 
favourite work of TYPO3 :D )
