Don't set the flag create a HMTL 4.0 page and see what tags TYPO3 will create. It will create XML
tags. The reason is that the majority on this list thought that HTML is dead and those who care to
validate their documents use XHTML. As we all know HTML browser don't care too much about a spurious
/ the impact on real life is zero. But fact is that TYPO3 generated HTML pages are not valid, only
the XHTML pages are valid.

But back to the topic: I think it's too early to adopt HTML5 with a switch. You can already set the
DTD via a config option so a built-in support is not really. Especially if no other rendering flags
are set/preset when this DTD is active.
