Hi Susanne,

generally +1 by reading and testing, although only tested in FF.

Nethertheless some remarks:

* the refresh icon is unrecognizable and too small, the warnings are 
really big, so why having this miniminiicons? Also there is no tooltip 
for refresh icon

* same as Bastian said: collapse of news is senseless imho

* Header of login news needs some padding

* the proportions are a bit unlogical: small headers but double sized 
labels. I don't mislike the big fonts at all, maybe a bit bigger header.

All in all the new login looks much better, indeed even sexy.

btw - i used "Disabhle cache" in webdeveloper toolbar to get it visible, 
  browser cache is sometimes insuperable
