Hi!

It is not *my* problem. It is mostly a problem of users, who has to use changing UI and still produce articles daily.

Great. When widget appear, we can rearrange toolbar items. Right now I do not see any need to change position of search.

Well, guys, you talked about something somewhere, you refer to it often as that was a holy thing. I got that you decided something somewhere. No idea what *exactly* you decided though. Seems to be a big secret. At least I do not see it recorded anywhere.

For now you (=HCI team) present some totally unrelated bits of changes here and there. May be they look logical from your side after your discussion of something somewhere. But they look totally random and senseless from here. Looks like someone got a nice toy to play and tries to do whatever he can with it. Fully random actions.

If you have a concept, show it. Otherwise many of your changes look exactly the wrong way: you do changes just because you can. No logic is seen in these changes, sorry.

Where do you see inconsistency? I added several my own items locally and I do not have a problem with search. It stays on the same place all the time. Why should it be on the right from now on? Just because of MacOS? Well, bad reason. Copying without idea is never good. TYPO3 is not MacOS.

If those mystic widgets appear and they require search in the rightmost position - fine, we will do it. But why touch it now? Just because you can???

Damn, I feel like I should leave TYPO3 (like Rene did) and switch to Wordpress forever. Latest changes are too chaotic for me. I start disliking TYPO3. It was rock solid when it was driven by Kasper. Now it is like a life on volcano: never know what to expect in the next minute and no one truly drives it. Everyone drives to its own direction.

May be you should learn from Kasper: he always presented a whole concept behind his changes. This is why most of his changes are so effective and welcome. He never worked randomly.

Ok. I will not write like this again. Do whatever you want. I am tired. I am out.
