Hey all,

+1 from my side as well. IMHO should also go in 4.2.1, to have the 
consistency quite fast. Also: Users will only notice this change of UI 
if they have already installed some plugins yet.

This "bug" was a critique point while finishing TYPO3 4.2 and was never 
fixed, 4.2 was released and still contained this issue.

I would also even welcome Jens' suggestion putting this stuff right next 
to the logout button. Dunno for sure yet but Steffen's patch should 
definitively go in.
