One more thing:

This "feature" has to get enabled in the Install tool:

[FE][disablePageIsBeingGenerated]

... so it would be no harm to include it into the BETA ... with the option
disabled by default. and people could try it if works properly by just
enabling
the option.

So you would just have to check that nothing of the default behaviour gets
changed as long as this option isn't enabled (start your investigations at
tslib/index_ts.php)
