Those figures sound great!

In the past, a lot of people have complained about a bad database layout
 and TYPO3 not using keys enough, but never has anyone actually done
something about it.

So it would be great if you could come up with a simple patch that adds
keys here and there, and improves TYPO3's performance without breaking
backwards compatibility. I think such a patch could easily go into 4.1
and doesn't need to wait for 4.5.
