Well ... I partly agree on the "su" scenarion but I would rather compare T3 to a
graphical (X) environment. And normally you (at least I) are not logged in as root
in X but rather do a "su" in a terminal. And when you press logout in your graphical
environment you will also be completly logged out no matter how many terminals with
a SU are open

This is a good point. If the "switch back" checkbox is properly described within a [?]
(context sensitive help) it will be ok from my view to introduce this feature.
