Hi,

Better to just drop the roundtrip for older extensions, if you've come 
to a point with a 4.x extBase extension where you need to restructure 
your plugin, do it by hand. Or start over with 6.0.

You should have learned enough by now to be able to do that.

Legacy support,  while prefered in some scenarios, isn't really useful 
in this scenario and would only lead to other problems we don't want.
