[TYPO3] typo3 mail problem

hi list,

Does anyone know, why I get test at test.test at a sender address when 
sending non HTML-mails from install tool?  Could this be the reason why 
they do not get through? HTML-mails get through and look fine. Where do 
I have to set the sender for plain text mails?
