[Typo3-dev] Mini news and Northern Sami

Typo3 uses a scheme based on country names but allows for extensions for 
language variants.

So in Typo3 pt is Portugueses and br is Brazilian Portuguese (opposed to

Yes. You cannot simply invent Typo3 language code. Contact Kasper if you 
want a language added.

No. The language files uses multiple charsets. Each language is in it's 
own charset. You cannot simply open and safe the file without knowing 
what you're doing. Specifically your editor MUST NOT try to 
recode/convert any of the characters.

But you may of course switch the editor into utf-8 or iso-8859-10 
whichever you think is the best choice for Northern Sami. Then you enter 
YOUR data, and leave all the others lines untouched. This should do the 
trick.

In case Kasper decides to add Northen Sami you have to make a choice for 
all other guys and gals speaking Northern Sami: should you use 
iso-8859-10 or utf-8.
