[Neos] [TEAM] Slack for November sprint

Hi folks,

I didn't mean to start a discussion about "slack yes or no", now. As you know, the TYPO3 CMS team uses Slack and some others in the community too, so we see an opportunity to give it a ride for a month now. It's not really among our values to reject something right away without taking a closer look.

We want to find out if Slack is a good tool which can improve our communication. If it is, we can find a way to fix the technical issues (connect it to the typo3.org user base, create instructions for how to use an IRC client with it, ask Slack to sponsor an account without the limitations we currently have). If it's not, we at least know that we don't want to use Slack, based on some real experience.

Personally, I'm not so much in favour of ideological questions here, especially since the data we give to Slack is publicly available anyway (http://riesvantwisk.com/cms/home/irc-logs/typo3-neos-irc-log/2014/October/1.html)

So, let's try to be open and pragmatic, as we always try to be.

Cheers,
Robert

Please choose your typo3.org username as your Slack username.
