One more note, Drupal is working (for the most part) in GAE already [1]. There are several pointers that might prove helpful to anyone that tries to get Neos and Flow running there. Hopefully there is a way. Maybe we'd have to deploy copies of flow that have already warmed up the cache, so that no file writing is necessary (in theory?).
