Hi Peter, did you know that there's already an extJS-based file explorer for TYPO3 4.x? http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/extension-manuals/t3extplorer/0.0.2/view/1/1/#id3822755 I have never used extJS as a programmer, but from a user's point-of-view, it sure looks and feels nice.
