First things first, welcome to the TYPO3 community and it's mailing
lists.
You've guessed correct that this is the list you need for information
about TYPO3 on windows.
Just a heads up, this is one of the most quiet lists of TYPO3, not a lot
of people running on windows.

Now for the problem with the naming. It's actually typo 3 and not typ
03. But then always written as TYPO3.

This comes down to a couple of combinations, because I can savely say
that it's possible (have done it myself on a windows IIS 7 environment
succesfully). But first to get some more knowledge of the setup. What
kind of server are you running? IIS, wamp/xamp, apache kinds etc. I know
it's possible just need to find the proper config.
(running ImageMagick-6.5.3-Q16 myself on a windows IIS7 installation,
with Combining images working just fine)

Might be an idea, I hardly use it. But if you like you could send this
as a RFC to the core mailing list. For more information see the list
