Hi List

I have searched and looked all over the Typo3 site and found this
http://typo3.org/1275.0.html

Webserver
Operating System: Unix (eg Linux), Windows or Mac
Webserver: Webserver Apache, IIS
Middleware: PHP4
Database, core system: MySQL
Database, user extensions: Support for Oracle, MS-SQL, ODBC, LDAP -
virtually any external data source. Achieved through PHP4.
Hardware: A normal webserver setup will do, with some modern CPU and at
least 256 MB Ram. As with all database-driven applications, more RAM is
advisable though.

My interest lies in the part where it mentions "Database, user extensions:
Support for MS-SQL". How is this achieved?.. Via PHP4 like it says or is
there an extension for it?...

I am currently running on an IIS web server with PHP, MySQL and MS-SQL
installed. The aim is to have some Typo3 pages to be able to display some
MS-SQL database information. Am I being reasonable here or not?...

Mike Jones
