Hotel suggestions
-----
http://t3con06.typo3.org/hotelbooking.html
Stay at the Best Western Queens Hotel Karlsruhe (conference site) for 72
Euro/night when you mention the "punkt.de contingent Typo3" rate code.

I stayed at Hotel Avisa, http://www.hotel-avisa.de/e_avisa.htm, for
79 Euro a
night last year. It's barely a 10-minute flat ground stroll to the
Queens.

Private touring suggestions
-----
Juergen Egeling of Punkt.de and I will help put together airport pickup,
touring, hotels, meals, and whatever else is needed for interested
conference
attendees. We'll need to have our plans set by September 11th so that
we can
begin making reservations.

The Heidelberg Tour would contain 2 hours walk around in town, 1-2 hours
sightseeing at the heidelberg castle and a nice dinner as an ending.
Dinner and
heidelberg castle are paid seperately.

Black Forest: I suggest Baiersbronn, and some locations near by.
About 2-3 hours
hiking and a lunch/dinner. Evening in Karlsruhe in a nice typical
German beer
bar.
