Starting with one large "base" install for all these markets seems to be
the first step before custom packages for more narrow markets. The base
should be small enough to easily deploy. Maybe sticking to the larger
extension like tt_shop, timtab, chc_forum is the way to proceed. Widgets
and more obscure extensions like travelguide can be evaluated/developed
later.

Having the most useful extensions all working together in a mock web
site should help us speed up the deployment time of larger market
orientated TYPO3 sites considerably. Naturally we'll all have our own
favorite version of this preconfigured extensions set for different markets.

Easy to find is a big one. If include documentation with a "marketing
spin" it may attract clients who are not just IT, developers, designers
and web masters.

We need to demonstrate to the non tech and tech how TYPO3 can be used to
generate and "manage" different types of businesses in different
markets. Technical specs and developer documentation are not enough if
we can't provide a simple overview to where they can be applied.

best,
Greg
