[TYPO3-translators] update from repository not working?

how do I get changes of translations from the translation server into my 
typo3 installation?

I tried to use the "Check status against repository" link of the 
extension manager, but I get an "up to date" message for every 
extension. And I did make some changes for the greek language.

How long does it take for changes to be available through the extension 
manager?
