Suggestion: If chars < 3 then pressing Enter "forces" the search.

So if I'm looking for a page I know its ID I still can use for example: 
"8" + Enter and voilà!

As Mr Muller said, it was working in the old 
"options.shortcutFrame=1"... Bring it back!
