Seems to work quite fine. But the problem of this kind of menu is
that you must start from the beginning.

dev_admin + dev_admin you don't need to start from beginning
because the last used main and sub-module remain active (if you don't
reload the frame).

It is relative easy to add cookie, and you can save the
last used main module (not done, but easy).

Using contant editor ect. could have tabs in the actual view.
Three level dropdown have *not* in general regarded as very accessible
endeed you proposal real works - it could be a good alternative.
