Well - I think I missed that part of your posting with the URL, so sorry for
my ignorance ;-)
But maybe I just didn't notice that it is using the same approach because
actually it _does_ flicker when I view it with my IE6 Win. The test version
at CSSplay does not.

Don't know exactly why, but when you hover over the submenu entries the
whole entries seem to be kind of "reloaded" - so the flickering is not as
weird as with the other solutions and a bit slower but it's still there.

Maybe it's just because there are too many different levels at once or it
has something to do with background graphics and their size.

But anyway the question still remains, if a "CSS only" version of a BE
layermenu is a must have and worth all the efforts ...
