I thought we contacted just about everybody in the TYPO3 world already 
last year, but since that was largely before the typo3.org relaunch the 
new t3o-team was probably not as involved as much as they could be. 
Sorry for that!

The actual work will be largely prepared to keep the load on other 
people/teams as low as possible:
- changes in TER server will be prepared for Thomas; I have been in 
contact with him a couple of times
- changes in TER fe will be prepared for Thomas too
- changes in TER search; for this someone needs to be found who can do this

Since there is about six months available to make the changes I'm sure 
we will find people who can do the changes or who are willing to sponsor 
the changes (in any way).

Again apologies if you were not involved enough; that wasn't done on 
purpose!
