[TYPO3-ttnews] Show title on page with SINGLE plugin

Hi list!

On my pages I usually insert the page title through TemplaVoilà like this:

lib.title = TEXT
lib.title {
   data = page:title
}

On pages with a tt_news plugin in SINGLE mode there is an option called 
substitutePagetitle.
This puts the title of the current news record between the <title>-tags 
which is fine. But lib.title still writes the title of the current page.

How can i tell lib.title to put out the current news title instead of 
the current page title? Creating an extension template for the SINGLE 
page might be a good start...
Any ideas?

BTW: I'm using tt_news v2.2.24, TemplaVoilà 0.4.0 on TYPO3 v3.8.1
