[TYPO3-project-formidable] tt_news fe editing with formidable

Before I explore using formidable to expose specific 
tt_news form fields to a fe_user or fe_group for the
submission of content to be approved. 

Has anyone done this with success? 
Any suggested approaches or tips and tricks I should
know about before proceeding to try?
