[TYPO3-doc] Wiki: <extension3> tag?

Hi all,

this is my first post to this list.
I want to work on improving Typo3, and thought I'd start with cleaning 
up documentation.

Currently I'm going through wiki.typo3.org pages and doing a little 
reformatting and reformulating. Stuff like using <tt> tags to format 
file, class, variable and function names and so on.

All over the wiki, TYPO3 extension names are wrapped in an <extension3> 
tag. I assume that this should automatically link to extension 
documentation, but it currently doesn't work.

Are there plans to make this working? If not, how should I go about 
these tags? Link the extension documentation manually?
