[TYPO3-dam] readonly backend access possible?

Alexander,

Some time ago I was trying the same, however failed;
I dont think it's currently possible to differenciate read from write
access.
My conclusion was that it would need dynamic Include-Access-Lists rights
(read/write [Tables Listing vs. Tables Modify]) depending on the path
the user is in. (alternatively depending on the category of the DAM
element, however I feel path is better);

just my 2 cents,
regards georg
