[TYPO3-dam] Extra fields in DAM records only for certain file types

How about re-defining the dam types according to your needs:
    dam/lib/tx_dam_types.php
and then optionally modifying the tca see
    ext/dam/tca.php
according to your needs; should both be doable with an extension;
