[TYPO3-dam] Status of DAM developement?

Hi!
Of all those versions, does anyone offer a wider category system?I mean if 
all the possible stuff (pages, content elements...) can be categorized... 
Because I'm working on it right now and that would be a help, even if it's 
only to take a look at the code!
