[TYPO3-dam] DAM Recursive delete ?

Hi all,

I have created by accident a very big file tree in my DAM (more than 100
first level directories, several thousands of files)

I want to delete it, but apparently, the DAM file module doesn't allow to
delete a non empty directory. Is it possible to make it somehow recursive
??

If not, i can delete the files on disk and then tell the DAM to reload the
tree from server. But what about indexing and meta data ? I don't want my
database to keep these useless data ?!
