[TYPO3-dam] Installation error

Hi *,
When I try to install DAM 1.0.3 on a local WAMP test server on Typo3 
4.0/PHP 4.4.1/Apache 2.0.55/MySQL 4.1.15-nt, I get this error:

SQL engine parse ERROR: Field type unknown in parseFieldDef()!: near 
"float unsigned NOT NULL default '0' "

All other extensions install and work just fine; it's only DAM that 
won't insall.

Does anybody know what could cause these troubles?
