I used to prefer the version with label. But read on below.

But what does a screenreader do? The clicking thing is nice but IHMO not 
main feature. The point is we have a relation between two elements.

This makes me unsure, but I think I'll stick to the label-version.

Maybe. But since I gather that 99% of my forms to come will use a colun 
based layout I'm not to keen on a label-less layout ;-)
