[TYPO3-calendar] tx_cal_index suddenly empty - FE does only show a view events

Hi,

my tx_cal_index table is suddenly empty and in FE only very few events 
are still displayed.
I thought I'd have to use the cal_indexer in BE only to get this fixed - 
but when I go there I only get a page that is completly blank on the right.

Does anyone have an idea what I am up to do to get this fixed?

TYPO3 version is 4.6.8
