Hi Dan,

for sure DAM should integrate this as well. But DAM has a special 
concept with Media files, TYPO3 also have the multimedia CE which is 
nearly unusable in this state. So i think this should be integrated in 
both, DAM and core.
When the basic flash files are shared by core, DAM can use them as well.
