Hi Aishwarya,

you should have a look to the Media Content Element i integrated for 
TYPO3 v4.3. I'ts mainly a wrapper for swfObject and qtObject. There is 
the "old" Multimedia element which is invisble by default but can be 
used and can made visible again. It did a very basic embed code.

So, mainly you should look first to the core implementations.
