[TYPO3-english] LDAP authorization for backend

hi,

one of my projects requires the possibility of LDAP authorization for the
backend. the company's security policy doesn't allow to synchronize the
passwords and store them locally. for each login the LDAP server should get
contacted.

what extensions are suited for this? i looked at eu_ldap, ldap_auth and
ldap_authorization. eu_ldap always seems to synchronize all data, ldap_auth
seems to be very old and the manual isn't very detailed and
ldap_authorization seems to only support the frontend.

i would be very helpful for any tips!
