[TYPO3] rtehtmlarea & curly apostrophes & quotes

I have tested this and found that the error occurs when copying directly from Microsoft Word with apostrophes and probably quotation marks as well. It is because Word does not use the standard apostrophe or quotation marks but instead uses a curly version. I'm not sure if there is a setting in RTE or some TypoScript you can set to overcome this but that's what is happening.
