[TYPO3] Why is tt news backend in German

Hi Dmitry

I tried it out of desperation! I Googled for 'set default language typo3' :
)

tt-news has always worked great for me before, with an English BE (typo3
3.7) and offers perfect functionality for my current requirements. There's
nothing in the documentation which suggests that German is the default BE
language... I just wondered whether something had changed with typo3 4.
Maybe it's the extension.

Anyone have any ideas?
Mike

Probably because tt_news mainly developed by German developers. It is quite
often that people break rules (default=English) for convenience.

These are FE settings. Why do you expect them to work in BE? Btw, I tried
tt-Products some time ago (but did not like it and removed) and BE was in
English I think.

Dmitry.
