[Typo3] Problems with connecting to online repository

Do you have to go through a proxy? 
 If so, have you got curl installed?
 
Then go to install tool / all configuration

Setting for curlProxyServer]
SYS][curlProxyServer] = http://proxy.mydomain.com:3128/

Setting for [curlProxyUserPass]
[SYS][curlProxyUserPass] = proxy_username:proxy_password

If you can't increase download the extensions you want to your local
computer as .t3x from http://typo3.org/extensions and upload them to the
server. To download, have a look at "Details".
